Japan: PWJ SAR Team responds to flood affected areas in central Japan

In the early morning of September 11, PWJ Search and Rescue (SAR) Team arrived at the city of Joso, one of the severely affected areas by the flood in Ibaraki Prefecture of central Japan.　PWJ SAR Team, in collaboration with our partner organization Civic Force, immediately started the distribution of emergency relief goods using the raft, to the nursing homes.

PWJ’s SAR Team will continue assess the situation of the flood-affected region to deliver the most effective support necessary. PWJ’s SAR dogs as well as our amphibian vehicle are also with the team and on stand by and ready for the necessary rescue operations at anytime.
